[Privacy Policy] This policy applies to PlateHop, a world-recipe app provided by OrbickK. Its effective and last-updated date is 2026-07-30.

[App identification] The store name is PlateHop: World Recipes and the Android package name is com.orbickk.platehop.

[Account and direct collection] PlateHop does not require registration or an account. The app does not directly request a name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location, or transmit such information to a server operated by PlateHop.

[On-device data] Saved recipes, cooking history, explored-country stamps, country notes entered by the user, measurement, language and ingredient-alert preferences, a local Remove Ads entitlement state, and the expiry time of a 24-hour country Food Pass earned through a rewarded ad are stored on the user's device to provide app features. This data is not synchronized to a PlateHop account or cloud server.

[Photos] If a user chooses a country memory photo for the Passport, PlateHop processes the image on the device for display and storage and keeps it as a local app-specific file. The current release does not upload photos to a PlateHop server or include photo files in JSON backups.

[Backup and import] A JSON backup is created only after the user chooses to export one. It may contain journey progress, saved recipe identifiers, country notes, and preferences. It excludes photo files, the Remove Ads purchase entitlement, and temporary Food Passes. The user chooses where to store or share the backup through the operating system's share or file interface. Once an exported file is sent to a third-party storage provider or app, that provider's policies apply. Importing a backup may replace existing local data within the backup's scope with the contents of the selected file.

[Advertising and consent] PlateHop uses optional rewarded ads from Google Mobile Ads to offer a Food Pass that opens recipes for certain configured countries for 24 hours. Watching an ad is the user's choice, and the user may leave without watching it. The current release does not use banner, interstitial, native, or app-open ads, and no ads appear while reading a recipe or in Cook Mode. Before requesting ads, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain consent information and, where required, present consent or privacy choices.

[Advertising data processed automatically] The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share IP address, which can be used to estimate general location; user interactions such as app launches, taps, and video views; app and SDK performance or diagnostic information; and device or account identifiers such as the advertising ID and app set ID. This information may be used for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and security. Actual processing can vary based on the user's consent choices, device settings, region, and Google's policies.

[Purchases] PlateHop offers a one-time non-consumable Remove Ads product (platehop.remove_ads) through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment details; OrbickK does not receive full payment-card information. The app checks the purchased or restored state returned by Google Play, stores the entitlement on the device, and acknowledges the purchase. PlateHop does not operate a separate purchase-verification server and does not send purchase tokens or receipts to a PlateHop server. Order and payment records retained by Google Play are governed by Google's policies.

[Third-party services and international processing] Advertising and consent information is processed through Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform provided by Google LLC. Purchase information is processed through Google Play and may be processed in countries where Google maintains facilities. [Other services and sale] The current release does not include a separate analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, PlateHop account system, or cloud synchronization server. The recipe catalog and images included with the app are service content, not users' personal information. OrbickK does not sell users' personal information.

[Security] Local data and photos are kept in the operating system's app-specific storage. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. Exported backups are protected by the security settings of the storage location or service selected by the user, so users should keep backup files containing notes secure.

[Retention and deletion] Local data remains until the user deletes individual notes or photos in the app, replaces data by importing a backup, clears app data through the operating system, or uninstalls the app. The operating system may retain a copy under its backup settings. Google's retention and deletion practices apply to advertising and payment information processed by Google.

[User choices and rights] Users can choose not to watch a rewarded ad and, when required, can reopen ad privacy choices from 'Privacy & data' in Settings. They can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. Privacy inquiries or rights requests concerning data controlled by OrbickK may be submitted using the email below. Because PlateHop has no user profile stored in a PlateHop account or developer server, users manage on-device data directly through the app and operating-system deletion controls.

[Children's privacy] PlateHop is not directed to children under 13, and OrbickK does not knowingly collect children's personal information directly. Parents or guardians may contact OrbickK with privacy questions.

[Policy changes] If the app's advertising, analytics, account, cloud storage, backup, purchase features, or service providers change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety information will be updated together.
